Helsinki Navy Blush

This backpack looks great and I get lots of compliments. However, it seems that not a lot of thought / testing has gone into the functional design.

One major gripe are the 4 side straps that hook into the adjoining side. They come loose ALL the time. They don't stay tight and they are constantly dangling down. When I am walking fast the straps swing around and hit me. This is extremely annoying and unacceptable for a $150 backpack..

The next issue is that the backpack just simply doesn't have a lot of space inside it. If you have a wide item (like tupperware bowls for example) they won't fit. You have to stack them sideways.

Some positives: the laptop sleeves are nice (there are two of them) and the inner pockets are useful.

I absolutely love the Helsinki backpack! I NEVER write reviews, but it is mind-boggling to me that this bag isn't receiving more feedback. So much so that I felt compelled to take time out of my busy day to show some love for all the colors (since they are rated separately on the website).

To be clear, I purchased the "all black" bag, and you can find a more in-depth review about the quality and why I love it on that bag's page. However, all the colors are stunning, and if the quality is consistent across all the Helsinki bags, you really can't go wrong with any of them.
